New Work-Song to the Moon, Shift Gallery August 4-27, 2022

In Dvorak’s opera Rusalka, Song to the Moon is the water nymph Rusalka’s plea to the moon for guidance and assistance.  Making this work felt like a similar plea, or bargaining of sorts.  As if by making this work the topsy-turviness and uncertainty of my world would somehow righten itself onto a smoother and brighter path.

I will be exhibiting Song to the Moon at Shift Gallery through the month of August.

Shift Gallery, 312 S. Washington St, Seattle WA open Fridays and Saturdays 11-4 or by appt.
